32. Walker Art Center's Radical Presence

I went to see the show Radical Presence at the Walker Art Center for my art theory class. The gallery was interesting. There were some very bizarre pieces and some very stimulating pieces; I enjoyed it very much.

I visited Brittney at work today. 

Hohmies

At the Head of the Rock, we raced in the Ohme (hence we called ourselves the "Hohmes"). We placed second in our race, behind the other Minnesota 8!

29. Goldy and One

Goldy was hanging out with the Unicycle Club on the mall today. He climbed up on the unicycle and proceeded to ride around. Our Great Mascot is multi-talented. 

28. Pop in and Save!

These few days have been the balloon sale at the bookstore. Each balloon has a coupon inside for anywhere from 20% to 80% off. This balloon was abandoned so Sarah drew a llama on it and put it on display in the back of supplies.

26. Twinning!

Champ looking good in his suit and casual Annie were twinning with their purple shirts today. 

25. What Are the Odds?

Since we didn't have practice today, the novices decided to take over the local Applebee's for half-apps. A lot of the night was spent playing a game called What are the Odds? and now Nate has to jump in the river and Hans has to challenge a varsity rower to a push-up contest.

Head of the Miss

Today was the Head of the Mississippi regatta (the novice team's first!) and it was so much fun. Minnesota owned every race we competed in :)

Safety Suits!!

Today was COLD and windy so the coxswains in the fours put on the giant orange safety suits to keep warm and dry. 

24. DIY Bird Populator

For my art class today we repopulated the world with extinct or endangered birds. My group was in charge of finding a suitable environment for the black inca hummingbird. 

23. Diversity

One of the student groups was advertising for their club today and they were walking around all dressed up. When I first saw them, I didn't realizing they were promoting anything; I thought they were just dressed like that for kicks and giggles. 

22. Multitasking

My roommate brought her cereal into the bathroom with her so she could eat and do her hair at the same time.
