I don't think I can be home for an extended period of time without going bowling at least once. It's Kern's favorite activity.

It's never a bad time to make Christmas cookies. Not even if Christmas has passed.

Maddie decided that she wanted to clean her room. I found her face down in a pile of clothes and when I tried to take a picture, she sabotaged the shot.

Ornaments for the Tree

Maddie and I made the little stained glass ornaments we got for advent today. Halfway through melting, that penguin looked like he had a skin disease. Now these lovely creations adorn our tree.

Lamplighter

I had lunch with Aditi today at this cute little place called lamplighter. It was delicious.

Brunch at 821

We all went to brunch at 821 Cafe today. They have the BEST pancakes and I look forward to going every time I'm in Richmond.

The Mississippi Broke!

Since it was so nice, the coach scheduled a study break row this afternoon. It was really neat to be on the water in December.

On my bike ride home from my first final I saw the rowing team out on the water!

The Banquet that we've been waiting for all semester was tonight. They put all the ambassadors' name on the jumbotron at TCF Bank Stadium :)

The car battery was on the verge on death so I got it replaced today, much to the relief of my grandma.

This would be seniors vs. freshmen "tug-an-oar" (even though that's actually a rope). The freshmen won :) Way to go novs!

There is ONE baby green Sharpie left and there has been for a long time. I felt like he was a little lonely and missed his parents, so I reunited them for a little bit today.

It's cold enough outside now that I take the tunnels from class to class so I don't have to go outside and face the wind chill.

I put our little tree up in the apartment! I looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. I've got the Christmas tunes playing and hot chocolate warming my hands. I think it's safe to say I'm ready for this holiday!
