No Se Permite Fumar

See the 'No Se Permite Fumar' sign in the upper right corner of this photo? That hung in my grandpa's house. It was in Spanish because I put the Spanish side up when I visited him. My mom was up here this past weekend to clear out his house and she grabbed that sign for me.

The Best of Friends

So yesterday was my birthday and since I was in Madison, no one really celebrated... That's okay though. My friends in Virginia sent me the best gift :)

My salad has bugs! I cut into this head of romaine and all these little red bugs fell out along with a lady bug.

To the Mall

Gracious Galen kept me company at the mall so I wouldn't be a loner when my roommates wanted to shop for potential birthday gifts and I had to leave them alone.

I LOVE Regis West. There's always some awesome art up. Right now, some of the best projects I've seen are on their way up and I'm really excited about them.

So it's not quite my birthday yet, but since the fam's in town now, we had my birthday a whole ten days early. My sister made me the most delicious chocolate cake with the richest frosting AND my favorite banana pie! So delicious!

I was in the Guthrie theater with an OL friend when a massive storm rolled through Minneapolis. It was pretty neat to be up there with the massive windows and with this view of the city and lightning striked.
