Messy Messy

Throughout the year, as things have been left in the mailbox or on the porch, I just sorta left them in the kitchen until they accumulated to this point. Whoops. 

29. Practice

We had an extra long practice today so that we don't have to have practice tomorrow. The extra long part of it was a fun class warfare where we did a push-up contest, erging, and tug-of-war.

28. Glazed

I glazed cylinders today. I started simple just one coat of clear on the first one and slowly worked my way up to using wax and multiple coats. We'll see how they turn out.

27. BINGO

Every Wednesday, Goldy's Gameroom has free BINGO. I went to my first game tonight and won two separate times. It was pretty fun. I might need to make a habit of it...

26. Fish Bowl

The assignment was to make four bowls. Normally, I like to make an extra so this is the extra one I made. I had to recycle it though because it's tale fell off :(

Walk to Cure Diabetes

Today was the Walk to Cure Diabetes here in Minnesota. It happens at the Mall of America since it's too damn cold to be outside walking around. Today I was in charge of set-up and welcoming new families. It was really cool to connect with all these people especially when I talked with the new families because I definitely remember that when it was me all those years ago. It's really stressful and I remember how it helped to know there was a whole community of people out there in the same boat. Moral of the story, I just thought this was so cool and a ton of fun. 

24. Feeling the Love

When cleaning my room, I tore some paper off my water colors and it tore off in the perfect shape of a heart. It was a sweet little sign that I enjoyed very much. 

23. Rock Climbing

Today I did my dyad with Shannon and we went rock climbing at the Recreation and Wellness Center. It was a lot of fun though I learned I'm not as strong as I once was...

22. 225 Club

Today during Bowling, we had this awesome setting where and 8 or a 9 counted as a strike so someone bowled a 225!

21. Theme Night

Tonight at AdAms we had a theme night, much like homecoming during high school. Tonight's theme was Twin Day so each team picked something to wear to match one another. Our team was American and we rocked it. 

20. Positive Messages

Walking home from class, I saw an awesome message in the freshly fallen snow. I love people sometimes.

St. Paul

I went to the weekly brunch at Key's Diner today. Grandma wasn't feeling too well so it was just me and Lisa. You can see Grandma's building out the window of the booth we were sitting at today.

Happy Valentine's Day

Some of the crew team went to the girl's gymnastic meet today. We lift in the same gym that they practice in so there's some camaraderie between the two teams. We were cheering so loudly Goldy came up stairs to join in the fun. He may just join the crew team...

19. 'I Love Yudof' Dance

After the hockey game (which was AMAZING, by the way), I stopped by the Yudof dance and found Cooper busting a move.

17. 100 Club!

I bowled more than 100 today!!!

16. Frozen

I was inside for three hours and every inch of my bike was covered by a thin sheet of ice.

15. Tossing the D

It was a beautiful day today for Miranda's birthday so we went to the mall and tossed the disk for a little while. 

Creeper

That's my roommate getting into her grandparents' car. I took it from our window and she had no idea. I guess that is kind of creepy...

Churros

I had a lot of tortillas left over that I know I won't eat before they go bad so I made churros today. They lasted about 5 minutes before they have been devoured by my roommates (and me, too, of course). 

14. Goldy

I got to see the love of my life at the hockey game tonight! I can't say it enough: I LOVE GOLDY!

It was COLD today.

It's kinda hard to see here, but I got TWO strikes in the tenth frame.
